In this doodle I used colored pencil in a random pattern all over the page and then inked on top of the pencil.  This worked great until I used my finer pens the nib kept getting clogged.  You can kind of see this in the swirly border in the middle of the picture.  I did have fun giving myself freedom to draw where and what I wanted.
Another quickish doodle in my moleskine (my spelling sucks, sorry) I added the colored pencil after I had finished with all the black inking.  I don't like the way the pencil faded some of the black lines.  I did have fun coloring it when it was complete.

Moleskine - flower doodle

My latest doodle.  I have been working on this doodle for about 6 months... time can sure get away from me at times.

House drawings

I have been very busy and very thankful for the work, working on many many house and business drawings just like the drawing above.  If you are interested in a house drawing, please contact me l.stoner@yahoo.com  I do all of my work from photos.
this is a terrible photo of something I tried to do this Spring.  I drew these flowers on the back of the paper and started cutting.  I did two pictures, framed them and donated the finished pictures to my schools silent auction.  I was so surprised when they brought in $125! and happy.  :o)

Tropical Nights

I wanted to see what an idea I had for a new flower looked like - kind of tropical (I thought) so I added ferns, bamboo, and grass mats. And to surround the whole drawing I added little tiny erupting valcanos.  This is done in one of my many new colors of ink.
